September 11, 2005: Today I managed to complete three sections of Wedding Pictures that were taken by my sister, Krista Heubusch, my Aunt, Carrie Klass, and our friend Lori Morton.
September 10, 2005: We went to pick up Paula's wedding dress from the cleaners, but apparently they decided to close early today.
June 9, 2005: Well, I've finally recovered enough from the wedding to update the website. I've added pictures from the Ski Trip that started it all (when I proposed and she said "Yes!"). I've also prepped the pages that will hold the Wedding Pictures when they arrive.
May 29, 2005: OUR WEDDING DAY! Everything went perfectly!
May 28th, 2005: Rehearsal at Fearrington (we were an hour late), Pic up Steve's Tux, and Reheasal Dinner at Maggiano's.
May 27th, 2005: We went with the Groomsmen to pick up their tuxes. Everyone's fit except for Steve's! This is why we picked up the tuxes two days before the wedding instead of the day before.
The Pub Crawl (Bachelor Party) and the Bachelorette party were wonderful!
April 9, 2005: On April 9, 2005, Krista Heubusch, Heather Doyle, and Stacey Klass, threw a "Wine & Cheese" Party for us at Lucille and Larry Sherlick's home in Buffalo, NY.
March 12, 2005: J Evarts hosted a "Stock the Bar" Party for us and our friends who are local to North Carolina. And a good time was had by all!
February 27, 2005: After a tortuous 45 minutes of waiting for the high school Prom crowd to finish, we picked out the tuxedos for the Groom, the Groomsmen, and the Ringbearer today. Check another task off the list...only 91 days left to go!
February 26, 2005: We ordered our invitations along with the map/directions cards. Another task accomplished!
February 12, 2005: We picked our invitations. Another engaged couple was there...we think we may have scarred them for life! Now we just have to order the invites.
February 9th, 2005: Had a meeting with the wedding coordinator and the florist at Fearrington House to pick our menu, plan the wedding, and pick the flowers.
January 15th-17th, 2005: Only 132 days to go. We began planning our wedding in earnest this weekend by reviewing music selections, looking at ceremony options, scheduling meetings, and updating this website.
Christmas and New Year's 2004: We did NOTHING wedding related during the Holidays. We're calling it, "The Lull Before the Storm."
November 24th-27th, 2004: Paula and Steve introduced their parents to one another at Thanksgiving in Alexandria, VA. There was lots of wonderful food, family, and friends.
November 17th, 2004: Paula took A LOT of silk to Rosie the dressmaker along with 4 pages of pictures. The custom designed dream dress is on its way.
November 11th, 2004: Tragedy struck as Lucy Belle, the Dog of Honor, passes on. She will be greatly missed.
November 7th, 2004: Mary Ann Heubusch hosted a Tea in Paula's honor in Alexandria, VA. Real cream puffs!! Yummm!!!! Paula envisioned a slightly larger wedding dress.
October 31st, 2004: Paula and Steve had a wonderful Halloween with friends.
October 1st - Oct 4th 2004: Paula's mother came to visit to shop for wedding dresses, to see the wedding site, to see our house, and to see the rehearsel dinner location. We were well fed again!
September 14th, 2004: Paula mailed the "Save the Date" cards to out-of-town guests.
September 3rd-5th 2004: Steve's parents visited to look at potential rehearsal dinner locations. We're stuffed! Steve's sister, Krista, and Aunt Lou visited also to help celebrate our birthdays
July 9th, 2004: Steve's parents threw an engagement party in Buffalo. While in Buffalo, we:
- visited Niagra Falls,
- participated in the Family Golf Tournament (Steve had the Highest Score...again),
- went to the Family Picnic, and
- made the annual pilgrimage to the Anchor Bar.
July 3rd, 2004: Registry Day! We spent our day wandering through Hecht's and Williams-Sonoma to create/update our Gift Registries. Steve had FAR too much fun with this.
July 3rd, 2004: Paula designed and Steve built (and hosted) this website for the convenience of our family and friends.
June 17th, 2004: We've decided on Fearrington House as the location for our wedding.
April 2nd, 2004: Steve proposed to Paula at the top of Blackcomb Mountain in Whistler, British Columbia, Canada.
